Intra Oral Camera

As valuable as X-rays are, they cannot present an image of the entire mucosa and other soft tissues within the oral region. Intraoral cameras were created to identify existing oral lesions and tooth fracture with detail, which may not be detected by visual inspection alone.

The technology also allows the patient to see the images on a monitor and thereby better comprehend and understand the reasons for a given course of proposed treatment. Patients appreciate this visual element of treatment presentation, as it helps them make an even more informed decision about their dental therapy.
